HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

God has been with us from the beginning. He gave the vision and we took our first steps towards establishing His church HIS WAY.  We should’ve known that we would be different from the start, as our first church did not look like a church at all. It was the living room in the middle of Pastor Kinloch’s house, in the little area of Huger, South Carolina. We quickly realized that God did not need the building to manifest His presence, all He needed was obedient and yielded hearts. Therefore, the numbers grew and we were on our way to another building and phase of ministry.

We Follow
FOLLOWING THE PATH

In less than a year, God provided us with a storefront location at the corner of  Ben Sawyer Boulevard and Rifle Range Road in Mount Pleasant.  Under the name Prophetic Intercessory Prayer Ministries, we started to realize that God was taking us on a path to building him a new sanctuary.  Everything that led up to that point was divinely connected and seemed to follow a path that we had never seen before.  People were coming from far and near to experience authentic worship, praise, healing, miracles and complete transformation.  As a result, by 2004, we were able to purchase our current sanctuary located on Boston Grill Road and God’s Way Church was established.

Miracles Happen
BUILDING GOD’S WAY

As we continue to follow the direction of the Holy Spirit, we have greatly impacted the kingdom of God, as mandated by the Great Commission. We have generously given to those in need, led hundreds of souls to Christ, interceded on behalf of the sick, lost and broken, welcomed others into the fellowship, and share in the joy of baptisms, marriages, births, and re-dedications.  In addition to these spiritual victories, God has greatly blessed us to purchase land for the new church building and in 2017 we burned the mortgage on the existing church building.

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, [we] wait for it; Because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”  Habakkuk 2:3
